DriveWire is a standard for Coco3's to access external (typically larger) storage over a serial protocol.
As the physical hardware fades into history, emulators still permit Coco3 software to run. This is an emulation of the DriveWire protocol in Python2, with a network port so that emulated Coco3's can connect to this and access virtual drives.
